A major energy efficiency project? This may help.

The IETF Industrial Energy Transformation Fund is open for applications, with £60 million available as grant support for energy efficiency and decarbonisation projects, be they feasibility studies or deployment. Phase 2 : Spring 2022 window

Feasibility Studies

Investigate a defined technology solution to improve energy efficiency or reduce GHG emissions.

Deployment Projects, Energy Efficiency

Support the deployment of technologies that will improve the energy efficiency of an industrial process. Grant funding for the installing or retrofitting equipment on site.

Applications will be competitively assessed against key criteria. Generally, an application may aggregate up to 5 studies or 5 projects, though not a mix in any one application. Each study must total at least £30,000 eligible costs, and grant funding for energy efficiency deployment must total at least £100,000 per application.

Depending on size and location of the lead application and project partners, studies attract 50% - 70% subsidy, energy efficiency projects 30% - 50% of deployment costs.

Deadline for application is 29 April 2022.

Here at CCS Technology we have the depth and breadth of experience in assessing and delivering energy savings with the retrofit of variable speed drives to injection moulding machines and related processes. As with other successful and pending applications, we are ready to assist.
