A New Era for a Major UK Plastics Recycling Company

REGAIN Polymers Limited, a new independent business backed by funds managed by investment group Chamonix Private Equity has acquired The Plastics Recycling Division of LINPAC Packaging Limited.
The new company will be run from their existing site in Castleford, West Yorkshire by the current management team and will continue to offer the same range of quality, high performance grades of recycled Polypropylene, Polyethylene and Polystyrene under the REGAIN brand name.
The new business will be looking to make significant investments in 2011 to expand the capabilities and capacity of the plant, and the management team are looking forward to an exciting future.
Ian Porter, General Manager, said, “This represents a fantastic opportunity for us to grow the business and improve the range of products we can offer and accept for recycling. We shall continue to supply our existing customers with minimal business disruption and will be looking to strengthen our portfolio of products and customers through 2011 and beyond.”
REGAIN Polymers will process in excess of 30,000 Tonnes of rigid plastics during 2011, making them one of the biggest Recyclers in the UK.
