In January Jamie Tinsley Managing Director Amaray Europe visited Downing Street to meet the Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Rt. Hon George Osborne MP. Jamie had the opportunity to share with the Chancellor details of how new opportunities, development, investment, and engagement with the workforce is helping support the Amaray Europe “develop & diversify” drive. They also discussed some of the challenges facing the plastics & packaging industry as a whole and how the Government can better support UK manufacturing. Extra focus should be on communicating and educating the public on the benefits plastics deliver, in addition raising a positive profile of the plastic industry which is a massive contributor to the strength of UK manufacturing and the overall economy.
