Andy Jewell – Meet the Team

To further consolidate TH Plastics’ growing presence within the UK Plastics Industry, we are pleased to announce that Andy Jewell has joined in the capacity of Technical Sales Consultant. He brings with him a significant level of knowledge and experience that will be invaluable in assisting TH Plastics grow our business into the future, and help develop the model for incorporating increased levels of Industry 4.0 thinking into future projects.

Andy’s journey into plastics started 33 years ago, after completing an Honours Degree in Chemistry with Business Administration at Kingston Polytechnic/University. From initially gaining sales and technical experience in material handling, drying and dosing systems, Andy progressed into promoting and selling real-time MES specifically targeted at the plastics industry. This was for a leading US supplier of real-time MES/SFDC/i4.0, Andy was instrumental in them becoming a leading supplier across the UK/Europe/RoW. Andy became an Independent Sales Consultant in 2017 and has since been working with “best-in-class” solution providers to help increase productivity and profitability at their existing and new Customer sites.

When asked what attracted you to TH Plastics, Andy responded ‘’In a nut-shell, the equipment being supplied is arguably some of the best on the market and from first meeting Lee, Jonathan and Ash they all exuded the vibrancy, vitality and professionalism of a dynamic young company and putting customer service at the fore-front.’’

When General Manager, Ash Seddon was asked about Andy this was his response ‘’Andy adds a vast level of experience and industry knowledge to our existing team. His network within the industry will be invaluable to us, we are very much looking forward to him getting his teeth stuck into things and representing us for years to come. We are very pleased to be able to announce his appointment within the sales team.’’

What does Andy enjoy doing outside of work ‘’Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, close friends inside and outside of the industry, travelling to new destinations and watching a variety of sports in good company both on-screen and live.’’
