Initial Submission Deadline: Thursday 15 January 2015, 5pm GMT.
For the Initial Submission, prospective technical Authors should submit a Title and an Abstract of Presentation (maximum 500 words) and proposed presentation format should be specified (Powerpoint, Prezi etc).
Initial Submissions will be reviewed by the Programme Committee and prospective Authors will then be sent a questionnaire, by Friday 30 January 2015. Completion of this questionnaire will help prospective authors to scope out the content of their presentation in more detail. Submission Deadline for completed questionnaires: Thursday 12 February 2015, 5pm GMT. Late submissions may not be considered.
Completed Questionnaires will be reviewed by the Programme Committee and successful Authors will be invited to present at Conference by Friday 06 March 2015.
Note that an invitation from the Committee to present at Conference will be contingent on the final presentation closely fitting the slide sequence specified in the original questionnaire. The purpose of this process is to ensure that all presentations given at Conference meet our criteria for content and audience appeal.
Technical presentations will be considered from any source. For a technical presentation, a maximum of one slide of a commercial nature will be permitted. Company logos must only be shown on the Title Slide.
Technical presentations should be designed to last 20 minutes; in normal circumstances, this means that the maximum number of slides should be limited to ten, plus one Title Slide. However If there are more slides than this we would need to be convinced that the presentation will fit the 20 min slot allocated.
Commercial presentations will only be considered from Conference Gold sponsors. Commercial presentations can be either 15 minutes or 30 minutes long, commercial presentations should contain new or innovative material as well as commercial content.
If an Invitation to Present has been issued, the final presentation (format should be specified Powerpoint, Prezi etc) must be submitted by Thursday 30 July 2015, 5pm GMT. Authors will be notified of any revisions required to the presentations by Friday 14 August 2015 and presentations must then finally be re-submitted by Thursday 27 August 2015, 5pm GMT. Please note that it will not be possible to give extensions to this deadline, so please conform to our timings, to avoid disappointment.
The decision of the Programme Committee in all matters related to submitted presentations will be final. Our primary aim is to produce a presentation programme which has novel content; one that will attract the maximum audience to the Conference sessions.
