Boomerang Plastics Press Release: Christopher Pincher MP Visits Boomerang Plastics Recycling Facility

Tamworth based Boomerang Plastics recently welcomed their MP Christopher Pincher to their contaminated plastics recycling site. Mr Pincher had previously visited the Summit Systems subsidiary during its early days, but this time was back to inspect the huge strides the company have made in processing development and job creation. Boomerang Plastics are recycling plastics here in the UK for re-use by the UK plastics processing industry.

Managing Director Mike Jordan and Commercial Manager Dan Jordan showed Mr. Pincher the latest equipment the company have developed for the recycling of contaminated plastics and he examined the recycled product that Boomerang are selling back into the UK plastics processing market.

He was enthusiastic in his praise of this innovative, growing  business saying “I was really pleased to visit Mike and Dan Jordan's exciting new company, Boomerang, which uses innovative technology to recycle plastic waste into valuable new products. Science, developed by local Tamworth entrepreneurs, means old yoghurt pots can quickly become coat hangers which is good for the environment and good for business." He went on to point out how the company have provided jobs for the local community, commenting "Boomerang can be another Tamworth success story offering jobs and skills to local people.  I hope it continues to grow and I will do what I can to support it, and other local businesses like it."
