BPF and ARMO Launch Student Design Competition

As part of the ARMO 2015 event taking place from 13th – 15th September 2015, the British Plastics Federation is launching a student design competition that is open to all UK and International design students, with financial prizes for the winner of each category and a six month work placement as well as a financial prize for the overall winner
The design challenge for this competition is to create a product that demonstrates an appreciation of the many advantages of rotational moulding
The categories for the event are; Our Green Environment, Illumination and At Leisure. The judging for this competition will be based on research, commerciality, process consideration, execution, design thinking, relevance to the theme and originality
Each category winner will receive a prize of £750 and the overall winner will also be awarded £1,000 and a six month work placement. The overall prize winner is kindly sponsored by Balmoral Tanks. The work placement and ‘Our Green Environment’ category are kindly sponsored by Kingspan Environmental whilst the ‘illumination’ category is sponsored by Tecni-form and the ‘At leisure’ category is sponsored by Gordon Ellis.
All entries for the competition must be received by 3rd April 2015.
The winning entries for all categories will be announced on the 22nd May 2015
