BPF exhibit at RWM
Monday, 18 September 2017
The British Plastics Federation (BPF) joined seven other trade associations to form a ‘Material Village’ at RWM last week. The trade association, which included Alupro, Wood Recyclers Associations, Recoup and the Recycling Association, were able to offer advice and guidance for visitors wanting to know about reprocessing of specific materials or an insight on industry issues.
The BPF took this opportunity to promote the Plastics Industry Recycling Action Plan (PIRAP) to RWM visitors. Three companies signed up to PIRAP at RWM increasing the total to 57 supporters. Other organisations were provided with information on the programme to enable them to commit at a later date.
The BPF Recycling Group Strategy 'Proposal for Growth of the UK Plastics Recycling Sector in a Circular Economy 2017' was available for visitors to find out about their proposal to improve the plastic recycling sector. There were also enquiries for companies looking for recyclers for specific materials.
RWM is an annual exhibition on waste management which includes zones on Recyclers & Reprocessers, Machinery & Equipment, Data Tech Services and Handling & Logistics. To find out more about RWM visit https://www.rwmexhibition.com/.
