BPF Leads British Pavilion at Fakuma 2009
Monday, 11 May 2009
Between 13th – 17th October 2009 the BPF (British Plastics Federation) will be leading the British Pavilion at the Fakuma exhibition in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Fakuma will be the largest plastics exhibition in Europe in 2009 and since its inception in 1981 this strategically important exhibition has continually grown with the last show attracting some 1,705 exhibitors and 41,856 visitors.
BPF Business Development Manager, Stephen Hunt says: ‘Fukuma provides the perfect platform for companies to access the strategically important German and Austrian markets and with the GBP/Euro exchange rate at historic lows UK companies have an unparalleled opportunity to increase their exports’.
The British Plastics Federation has reserved over 100sqm for the British Pavilion allowing UK companies to book a stand from as little as €215 per square meter with no minimum space requirement applied. UK Trade and Investment grants of £1000 are available for eligible SMEs, which makes the exhibiting very cost effective. With the government support, for example, a 9 sqm stand will cost less than £1000.
