BPF Offers a Helping Hand to Small Companies at K 2016

With the deadline for stand booking fast-approaching, companies who wish to benefit from being part of the UK Pavilion at K 2016 are urged to secure their place before 29th May 2015. Companies signing up after the official deadline will be placed on a waiting list by the organisers and will not be guaranteed space allocation.
The K exhibition, which takes place in Düsseldorf , Germany on 19th-26th October 2016, is set to draw over 3,000 companies. The last edition of the show attracted well over 200,000 visitors from approximately 100 countries, solidifying the show’s status as the largest plastics event in the world.
K 2013 saw the UK Plastics Industry being represented by over 100 companies; however this amounted to only 3% of the total number of exhibitors. Why is this? The main issue exhibitors face is cost, which is where the British Plastics Federation (BPF) can lend a helping hand.
Recognising the need for financial support, the BPF has developed cost-effective all-inclusive stand packages as small as 9sqm (compared to the minimum of 20sqm required to book as an individual company). For the 2016 edition, the BPF is encouraging British firms to join the UK Pavilion at the secured space in one of the two international halls; Hall 5 dedicated to materials and Hall 12 focused on machinery.
With the more cost-effective stand options for British companies, the number of UK exhibitors is set to soar.
