Representatives of UK Government, the retailing sector and leading Trade bodies have been confirmed as speakers at the BPF's ‘Trends in Plastics Packaging’ seminar to be held at Nottingham Forest FC’s City Ground on the 25th October 2012.
With UK industry facing up to the threats and dangers of global competition, this seminar will offer attendees an opportunity to learn about the current state of the market and to explore likely future trends for plastics in packaging. With a mixture of practical case studies from blue chip brands and insightful presentations, organisations represented will include; the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), Marks & Spencer and the British Soft Drinks Association.
With the recent announcement of the UK Government’s recycling targets and the increased pressure on the industry to innovate, it is vital that businesses are aware of the fast moving changes in trends and legislation within the industry and are briefed on how best to respond.
