BPF Plastics Packaging Seminar To Examine Engaging With Press Campaigns, Illegal Imports and Packaging Compliance

The British Plastics Federation (BPF) has announced that it will host the highly anticipated Plastics Packaging Seminar, which is set to take place on 22nd April 2015 at the BPF offices in London.

This year’s seminar will tackle key issues facing the UK Plastics Packaging Industry. With a great deal of negative media stories hampering the positive image of plastics in packaging, the full day event will explore how to combat negative press campaigns as well as engaging with positive campaigns. In addition to this, the seminar will also provide delegates with an overview of illegal imports in packaging, an outline of packaging compliance and a comprehensive analysis of the flexible packaging market.

The BPF has secured an array of interesting and informative speakers to present on the day from prestigious companies such as INCPEN, Foodservice Packaging Association (FPA) and Smithers PIRA. To ensure the event is both interactive and engaging, Sense About Science, Science Media Centre and FPA will take part in a panel discussion during the afternoon session.

This one day conference is aimed at producers and suppliers of plastics packaging from all sectors within the UK. The event will provide attendees with useful information to implement into their own businesses, as well as facilitating excellent networking opportunities.

This event costs only £199 + VAT for BPF Members and £249 + VAT for non-Members. Table top spaces are available to book for companies to promote their products during the day.
