BPF presents to Plastics New Zealand, in Auckland.

On October 2nd 2011, the BPF’s Tim Marsden embarked on a trip of a lifetime, to support (primarily) the England Rugby Team at the IRB Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
During this trip (14th October 2011) Tim visited the offices of Plastics New Zealand (PNZ) to meet with their CEO Robin Martin, and also to deliver an hour-long presentation to the New Zealand plastics industry on developments within the UK converting industry. Due to a large interest from New Zealand’s industry, the location of the presentation had to be switched from PNZ’s offices, to a larger location.
Tim was able to meet with representatives from a broad range of companies, some of whom had travelled from New Zealand’s South Island to Auckland specifically. The presentation itself focussed on the BPF’s range of European-funded R&D projects, but also provided an overview of the BPF and UK market. The full programme can be viewed here.
