BPF Press Release: Exhibit in India with a Grant of £3000

Image

UK exporters who exhibit at foreign trade shows can claim up to £3,000 from UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) towards their expenses at the show. The BPF, who is accredited by UKTI, will help British plastics firms apply for their financial support through the Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP).

The BPF is running a UK Pavilion at the Plastivision show in Mumbai, India, between 12th and 16th December 2013 and the available funding will cover the cost of a stand in its entirety. Plastivision is the largest plastics event in India attracting over 100,000 visitors. This triennial trade show covers over 60,000 sqm with six halls and two hangars and this year 1,200 exhibitors from over 40 countries are expected to attend.

The increased funds are available to those companies who have not yet exhibited in one of the BRIC countries or developing markets. However, the more experienced exhibitors, who have used up their six grant allowance from 1st April 2009, can now apply for an additional six grants of up to £2,500 as an incentive to exhibit at even more events.

With the financial help available to UK exhibitors, UKTI aims to encourage British firms to export and promote their business abroad. The plastics industry’s calendar of foreign trade shows includes the following key events: Chinaplas (20 - 23 May 2013, Guangzhou, China), K 2013 (16 - 23 Oct 2013, Dusseldorf, Germany) and Plastivision (12 - 16 Dec 2013, Mumbai, India). At all of the aforementioned events there are grants of up to £2,500 available, however the number of grants at each occasion is limited.

For more information on the grants availability and full terms and conditions contact Angela Fredericks at the BPF on [email protected]  or visit www.bpfevents.co.uk .
