The Polymer Distributors & Compounders Group has welcomed a new Chairman for 2016 in Mike Boswell, Managing Director of Plastribution. As a BPF Ex-President
and former Group Chairman himself, Mike is well equipped with a wealth of industry experience and knowledge, enhanced further by his active position within the Industry. The BPF would also like to thank the outgoing Chairman, David Viehoff of Ultrapolymers, for all his hard work at the helm over the last two years.
Mike has begun his Chairmanship with the intial 2016 meeting of the Group, held on Tuesday 8th March 2016. During the meeting Mike offered his personal thanks to the outgoing Chair, David Viehoff, and oversaw proceedings which included covering areas of interest for the Group.
Aims of the Group include the mission to maintain a strong networking platform, and to promote and further enhance the polymer distribution and compounding business throughout the UK to both customers and suppliers alike. Through Group Surveys and regular meetings, the Group stays abreast of topics including polymer pricing, fraud in the Industry and feedstock guarantees.
