BPF releases Conductive Polymers Seminar Programme

The British Plastics Federation (BPF) has today released the programme for its seminar, "An Introduction to Conductive Polymers", to be held at the offices of the BPF in London, on the 10th May 2011.

Conductive polymers are a relatively novel part of the plastics industry and were initially discovered by accident at the Plastics Research Laboratory at BASF. This seminar will bring together a number of experts, both from academia and from industry, to explore conductive polymers, the market size, their uses and applications, and processing techniques.

Conductive Polymers forms the subject of an European Commission Leonardo Lifelong Learning Programme called ‘iPolyCond’ which will also feature in the BPF seminar.

This seminar will potentially attract interest from across the UK polymer processing industry, with the aim of increasing awareness in industry of the benefits of conductive polymers, for industry to better understand the processing parameters and the applications in which they are used.

The full programme and registration details of the BPF seminar can be found via www.bpfevents.co.uk and completed registration forms should be returned directly to Doreen Greenaway - [email protected]
