Safety in Manufacturing Polymers (SIMPL) is the industry-led programme created to improve health and safety across the plastics sector. It brings together trade associations, unions, training organisations and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to help companies strengthen their approach to safety and wellbeing.

SIMPL is now entering its 2026-2030 strategy cycle with a renewed focus on reducing accidents and ill health, while supporting better leadership and safer working environments for everyone.
