Dr Robin Kent, Founder and Managing Director, Tangram Technology
Dr Kent is the founder and Managing Director of Tangram Technology. He has a B.Eng.(Hons) in Materials Engineering from Monash University in Australia and a Ph.D. in Solid State Physics (Polymer Physics) from the University of Surrey in England.

Since 1972 Dr Kent has been involved with plastics processing in a variety of sectors ranging from extrusion to injection moulding. He has also been heavily involved in PVC-U extrusion and windows since 1981. He has many years experience in product design having worked as Technical Director for several of the major plastics processing companies in UK and Europe.

Dr Kent has published over 400 technical papers and articles on plastics and windows and written 2 books on plastics processing. He is a regular lecturer at conferences on materials processing and PVC-U windows, is a regular judge for industry awards and has chaired 5 committees setting the standards for the UK window industry.

Dr Kent was Vice Chairman of the British Plastics Federation Windows Group (BPFWG) General Management Committee for 2 years and also Chairman of the BPFWG Technical Committee for 2 years. He currently sits on the Research Committee of the Centre for Window and Cladding Technology (CWCT) and is the immediate past Chairman of the Plastics Consultancy Network (PCN).

Dr Kent was awarded the Plastics Industry Awards 2010 ‘Personal Contribution’ award for his work as a champion of energy efficiency and for helping numerous processors to make savings through better energy use.

Alex Sparrow, Inenco
Alex was based in Portugal for many years running a company in partnership with the British Chamber of Commerce and joined Inenco in 2007.  He has a wide  knowledge of the energy markets and environmental issues and has been responsible for negotiating many contracts with blue chip companies.
