Final chance for early bird discount to major international rotational moulding conference
Wednesday, 3 May 2023
There is less than one week left to benefit from the early bird discount to ARMO 2023, which is taking place in Poznań (Poland) in September. Recognised as a must-attend event by the international rotational moulding community, ARMO 2023 features a conference as well as a large trade show area, showcasing new rotational moulding technologies.
The three-day event has the theme of ‘sustainable rotational moulding’. In addition to topical conference papers and the accompanying exhibition, delegates can also attend an industry networking dinner. ARMO 2023 is run by the Affiliation of Rotational Moulding Organisations (ARMO), which is a group of organisations that provide services to the global rotational moulding industry. Companies that are members of ARMO-affiliated organisations are entitled to further discounts and more information is available on the conference website.
Poznań is one of the oldest and largest cities in Poland. It is now a national and European centre of industry, trade, culture, higher education and science, and a major pillar of the Polish economy. The sustainability theme of the conference is truly at home in the city — a region where 28% of the land enjoys legal environmental protections.
On the speaker programme is conference veteran, Ronny Ervik, senior consultant at Norner. Ervik will be challenging delegates with a question that he thinks the sector needs to confront: ‘Change or Be Changed - What is Your Strategy?’
Ervik states:
When it comes to sustainability and the circular economy, there is a huge need for guidance within rotational moulding. As a sector we are seeing increased demand from customers to meet their environmental goals, but legislative requirements will force the sector into compliance. I hope this year’s ARMO Conference will alert delegates to the oncoming challenges and help them to decide where they want to be in the marketplace; either a leader or a follower.
Gareth McDowell of 493k will also be taking part in the programme to look at ‘Where the Energy Goes in Rotomoulding.’ He states:
Rotomoulding is not a single use product industry, but a key player in supplying water storage solutions, bespoke fuel storage tanks, necessary tanks for heating of tens of thousands of homes; it’s an industry with a robust history in outdoor furniture, road furniture, ocean buoys and boats! Rotomoulding is just as sustainable as any other infrastructure building industry...in fact it could be argued that its incredible adaptability makes it an even more essential manufacturing process.
Poznań's ARMO 2023 will be sure to showcase some of the great innovations, the product potential and energy- and finance-saving equipment available to our industry now.
Supporting the event will be gold sponsors LyondellBasell and Matrix Polymers; silver sponsors Corcoran Group, Dram srl, Ingenia, Maus, Orex Rotomoulding, Persico and Rotovia; and bronze sponsors Alloyplast, Boca Italy, MPLAST (India), Poliplast, Polivinil Rotomachinery, Rotospace, SAT Thermique and Ultra Polymers.
ARMO 2023 is being jointly organised by Rotopol and the British Plastics Federation (BPF). View the full programme and register at: armo2023.com
The early bird discount for ARMO 2023 is available until 8 May.
