Join the Discussion at Interplas, Tuesday 26th September, 14:45 - 15:30
Within the British Plastics Federation (BPF) Productivity Committee six working groups have begun work on a project that will have far reaching benefits for the plastics industry.
The work will assess each element of product design and manufacture, producing guidance that will allow decision makers to optimise their production model within their specific budgets to increase efficiency and commercial competitiveness.
Their current focus is on Automation, Digitalisation, Equipment, Materials, Product Design, and Tooling. But this work is only the beginning.
The panel will be made up by the experts leading each working group. Outlining their objectives they will identify existing problems, why the UK industry is lagging behind our EU competitors, and what needs to be done to level up.
First release of this work is expected in 2024.
Hosted by BPF President, Nigel Flowers, join the panel for your first deep dive into the future of the plastics industry.
