Lubrizol and Bjørn Thorsen Expand Distribution Partnership to Germany and Hungary

CLEVELAND, Ohio, March 3, 2026—Lubrizol has announced that Bjørn Thorsen A/S has expanded its distributorship for Lubrizol’s industrial thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) resins in Germany and Hungary. Bjørn Thorsen, a well-established distributor of Lubrizol TPU in Nordics, Baltics, UK and Ireland, is now strengthening its distribution portfolio and local presence in key Central European markets.
Under the expanded agreement, Bjørn Thorsen will represent Lubrizol’s TPU portfolio across Germany and Hungary, providing sales, technical support and market development activities tailored to regional customer needs. Bjørn Thorsen will offer a large selection of Lubrizol thermoplastic elastomers, including key brands such as ESTANE® TPU for diverse applications, Pearlstick™ TPU for solvent-based adhesives, and Pearlbond™ TPU for hot melt and reactive hot melt adhesives. In addition, Bjørn Thorsen will provide technical expertise, application guidance, and customized TPE solutions through its Plastics Applications Laboratory.
The expansion of Bjørn Thorsen’s distributorship will enable faster market access, supply security, traceability and reliability in product and documentation deliveries through an efficient supply chain from Bjørn Thorsen’s Central European warehouse.
