Machinery investment enables Corilla Plastics to expand range and services

Based in the Garw Valley in Pontycymer, Bridgend, rotational moulding specialist Corilla Plastics has over 40 years’ experience in rotational moulding.

Following a recent £400,000 investment, Corilla Plastics has expanded its rotational moulding capabilities to support clients across a wide range of industries. This investment has enabled the installation of a brand-new rotational moulding machine to increase production capacity and scale. View the installation here.

This new machine, named ‘Ffaldau’, is a 4 meter-wide, 2 arm shuttle machine, equipped with an offset (drop arm) option. It serves as an upgrade to the existing array of machinery and has increased capacity at the factory by 50%.

Coinciding with the new machine installation, this investment has enabled the development of new brand Dragon Garden Products and new product line, Dragon Planters. Dragon Planters are sophisticated garden planters suitable for the home or workplace. Stockists can work with Dragon Garden Products as a supplier of planters for their store based on an existing range, and also tap into colourways and designs unique to their business with RAL colour flexibility.

With the launch of the new brand and new machinery, Corilla Plastics recognises an opportunity to equip independent and SME businesses nationwide with the ability to source robust plastic products. This supplements Corilla Plastics’ core offering of rotational moulding and assembly of bespoke products for industries including construction, marine navigation and automotive.
