Local MP Gregor Poynton Visits Engineered Foam Products to learn more about Advanced Manufacturing in the UK

Engineered Foam Products has welcomed a visit from local MP Gregor Poynton.  The visit highlighted the importance of UK manufacturing, the challenges faced by advanced manufacturing and the innovation driving Engineered Foam Products success.

During the tour of the site, Mr. Poynton learned more about the end-to-end production process and the value of advanced manufacturing to the UK economy. The visit was arranged in parallel with the Industry and Parliament Trust (IPT), an independent non-partisan charity that provides a trusted platform of engagement between Parliament and UK. Mr Poynton is currently undertaking a Fellowship with the IPT in order to find out more about advanced manufacturing in the UK.
