The so called CLP Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 entered into force on 20 January 2009 incorporating the classification criteria and labelling rules agreed at UN level - the Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). CLP introduces major new requirements for classification and labelling and safety data sheets which apply from 1st December 2010. All users of chemicals will be affected by the new rules for classification and labelling – are you prepared? |
