Drawing on the knowledge of a range of carefully assembled experts, this event is ideal for all stakeholders throughout the plastics supply chain providing a unique opportunity to raise questions and dicuss the latest challenges ahead of forthcoming REACH and CLP deadlines.

This seminar will;

  • Consider the progress of REACH to date and its effect on your organisation and others in your supply chain.
  • Provide an introduction to the new EU Regulation on Classification, Labelling and Packaging of substances and mixture (CLP) and what this could mean for your business
  • Highlight the availability of help and assistance to guide you through REACH and CLP

The so called CLP Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 entered into force on 20 January 2009 incorporating the classification criteria and labelling rules agreed at UN level - the Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). CLP introduces major new requirements for classification and labelling and safety data sheets which apply from 1st December 2010. All users of chemicals will be affected by the new rules for classification and labelling – are you prepared?
