Record Numbers for Meet the Toolmakers 2023

On the 15th November the BPF and GTMA held ‘Meet the Toolmaker 2023’.  The event, now in its 9th year was established to enable UK based processors to engage with domestic toolmakers in order to further enable the reshoring of tools.

The event has grown in size year on year and for the first time took place in Telford at the new 20,000 sq ft In-Comm Training Centre which offers state-of-the art training for manufacturers. Telford was a natural location for the event as it is has the highest concentration of plastic firms anywhere in the UK.

The event featured exhibitors from 24 toolmakers from across the UK plus a number of companies supplying into the sector and attracted a record number of attendees, with nearly 200 people coming from all across the UK.

Following the event a number of attendees participated in tours of local sites, including BPF member Epwin Group, GTMA member Torus, and the Incomm Training Centre facilities.
