TH Plastics at Interplas 2023

This year is the 75th anniversary of Interplas, taking place at the NEC in Birmingham from the 26th to the 28th September 2023.

Interplas is the UK’s leading plastics exhibition, displaying the growing innovations in plastics and manufacturing technology. The event will feature over 500 exhibitors, enabling 12,000 visitors from across the industry to learn more about manufacturing processes, technologies, materials, and services all in one place.

TH Plastics is a leading supplier of ancillary products and solutions, with a portfolio of customers including some of the most high-profile and technically demanding plastics manufacturers in the United Kingdom. As the exclusive distributor of Moretto, Rapid Granulator, Altero and Crizaf in the UK, TH Plastics supplies, installs and services ancillary equipment across the British plastics industry.

TH Plastics will present a broad range of premium ancillary products at Interplas 2023, with the goal of advancing circular economy within the sector. TH Plastics' line of equipment will include material feeding, dosing, blending, drying, cooling, conveying, granulating, and pelletising. Demonstration equipment will be on the stand where customers can walk through systems from virgin material pre-process, to finished part conveying, scrap size reduction and right back around to turning waste back into a pellet.

One of the products that will be featured is the DGM Mini Blender from the Moretto range, first launched at K Fair 2022. This blender is designed for machines under 20kgh, encompassing high levels of accurate dosing for up to four materials and reducing waste from production inconsistency and material wastage. There will also be dryers, blenders, dosing equipment, feeding equipment, temperature control and chilled water systems on display from Moretto.  

Rapid Granulator will also be showcased on the stand, featuring a 150 Series Granulator, a OneCUT Pro slow speed granulator, a 300 Series Granulator and a GT1100 skeletal Granulator. The intention of this equipment is to show a range from press-side granulation, in-line granulation and large part size reduction.

The Water Ring Pelletiser from Altero's pelletisation line will also be on display. The refined pelletisation line has established a technique for effectively turning plastic waste into high-quality reusable pellets. The WRP produces consistent pellet size allowing a smooth transition to recycled pellet using existing equipment.

After the newly announced partnership earlier in the year, our stand will also feature a range of Crizaf conveyors, including box shifters and counting devices, demonstrating their automated handling capabilities to help customers enhance their productivity and efficiency.

Sustainability is a huge concern within the plastics industry, and with our partnerships with Moretto, Rapid Granulator, Altero Machinery and Crizaf, TH Plastics are able to offer a “closed-loop” system.
