The BPF at the PVC 2024 Conference
Tuesday, 30 April 2024
The BPF recently attended the PVC 2024 Conference at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre from 15th–18th April.
Held as an in-person event for the first time since 2017 (due to Covid), the conference attracted a global audience of over 500 delegates from 44 countries and 5 continents.
The group of international speakers over the three days included various topics ranging from technical and regulatory developments to climate issues and the UN Global Plastics Treaty.

With presentations from Hugo-Maria Schally, the Directorate for Global Sustainable Development in DG Environment of the European Commission, speaking on the Global Plastic Treaty, Henry Warren of EMEA presenting on the markets, and Virginia Janssens MD of Plastics Europe speaking on the first day, it promised to be an informative and busy three days!
Delegates have previously reported on the exceptional engagement, networking and knowledge exchange for which the triennial PVC Conference series is well-known for. The PVC2024 event provided an excellent opportunity to network, meet established and new contacts. Moreover, it provided an update in knowledge of the latest developments in the industry.
The BPFs online PVC seminar will be running on Thursday 12th December 2024. To register your interest, please use this link: Register Here
